Breakfast on Pluto (2005) Review

This film set in 70’s tell us story of  Patrick Braden (Cillian Murphy) an Irish guy who likes dress as a woman and is abandoned by his mother at the door of home of the priest Liam (Liam Neeson) later is raised by a family who don’t like behaviour of Patrick. He has some friends as Irwin (Laurence Kinlan),  Charlie (Ruth Negga) and Lawrence.

Later, Patrick went to London to find some jobs, working in some disgusting trades as singer assistan of a magician, etc.. meanwhile he tries to find his mother, after some months, his friend Irwin is killed by the IRA, he finds help from Liam the Priest but village burns house of Liam. Finally we can see Patrick and Charlie carrying the baby of her and Irwin, and Patrick transformed into a morefriendly friends to Charlie.

We can see chemistry between actors, an splendid Cillian Murphy when you can feel pain, anger, empathy with this character, Liam Neeson as a nice priest, everything well done by great director/writer Neil Jordan.
